SERVICE PROVIDER POLICY

The following constitute the terms and conditions governing the registration and listing of services offered by Experts on the BIZSTART platform.

REGISTRATION AND VERIFICATION

Who can be an Expert?

Individuals carrying on their own businesses may apply to be empaneled/ registered and listed on the platform as ‘Experts’.

What information will we require for Registration?

We will require your name, age, contact details, educational qualification information, a description of your business, when you will normally be available to take calls from Seekers, the Appointment fee that you would like to charge etc.

We may also require Information available in the public domain including business website coordinates, social media details etc.

Additionally, a verification process may be conducted by Bizstart including a formal interview/ evaluation of a business owner via video-conferencing, to determine compatibility with the platform and its purpose of offering high quality advice to Service Seekers using the platform.

Upon approval of your registration on the platform, Bizstart will collect templated, non-specific and non-identifiable information pertaining to your business for the purpose of presentation on the Site.

We will, after registration, collect other information including GST details, other Tax related information, and bank account details etc. as may be required in order to facilitate payment settlements to you, as applicable.

Once your User account is created on the Bizstart Platform, an email will be sent to you containing your login details on Bizstart including a username and a password.

Who can be an Expert?

As a condition of your use of the Site and Services, you agree to:

Appointment Fees

The amount due and payable by a Seeker for speaking with You (as an Expert) over a Call is referred to as the “Appointment Fee”. Appointment Fees may be determined and set by the Expert at the time of Registration in consultation with Bizstart.
Appointment Fees are quoted in each Listing for an Expert. The Appointment Fee quoted shall be inclusive of applicable service taxes.
Please note that Bizstart does not currently charge fees for the creation of Listings. However, You acknowledge and agree that Bizstart reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to charge for and collect fees from you for the creation of Listings. Please note that Bizstart will provide notice of any Listing fee collection via the Site and Services, in accordance with these Terms, prior to implementing such a Listing fee feature.

SERVICE FEES - PAYMENT SETTLEMENTS

In consideration of the Services we provide including the scheduling of Calls, payment integration etc., Bizstart charges you a fee (the “Service Fee”) as a percentage of the Appointment Fees collected on your behalf for the Scheduled Call. The current applicable percentage is one third or Thirty three percent (33%).
The Service Fee shall normally be deducted from the Appointment Fee payable to you in respect of a ‘Call’. Bizstart will remit the balance of the Appointment Fee to you after deducting the applicable Service Fee and any applicable withholding taxes.
Except as otherwise provided herein, Service Fees are non-refundable.
Payment Settlements of the appointment fee accruals due to you will be made on a monthly basis by Bizstart, in the first week of every month for the previous calendar month. The amounts due to You shall be calculated after deducting Bizstart’s Service Fees, any withholding taxes, any cancellation charges charged during the period and the balance amount will be credited to the bank account details provided by You, at the time of Registration, subject to any GST adjustment, as applicable.

GUIDELINES FOR THE CALL - EXPERTS

Cancellation and Rescheduling

You must honour every scheduled Appointment and any cancellation by You shall invite cancellation charges at the rate of 50% (fifty percent) on the appointment fee normally payable to You on the consummation of a call.
Cancellation charges due from you will be calculated and deducted from the monthly payment settlements.

If you have been improperly charged for an Appointment that was cancelled and require a refund, please contact Bizstart at [email protected]

Rating and Refunds

Rating of Services: Seekers will, after every consummated Call, be required to rate You (as an Expert) on various parameters on an aggregate scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being the lowest possible rating and 5 being the highest.

Please note that in case of an Expert receiving a rating of 1 on any call, no Appointment Fee will accrue to the Expert unless.

Your account access and listing may be suspended pending further enquiry by Bizstart, if You receive a rating of 1(one) on two consecutive Calls.

Non-exclusivity

Bizstart reserves the right to register/empanel more than one Expert in any business classification or category.

TERMINATION OR DEACTIVATION OF ACCOUNT

Bizstart may, in its sole discretion and without liability to you, with or without cause, with or without prior notice and at any time:
  • (a) terminate these Terms or your access to our Site and Services, and
  • (b) deactivate or cancel your Bizstart Account.

Upon termination we will promptly pay you any amounts we reasonably determine we owe you in our discretion, which we are legally obligated to pay you. In the event Bizstart terminates these Terms, or your access to our Site and Services or deactivates or cancels your Bizstart Account, you will remain liable for all amounts due here under. You may cancel your Bizstart Account at any time by contacting Bizstart. Please note that if your Bizstart Account is cancelled, we do not have an obligation to delete or return to you any content you have posted to the Site and Services, including, but not limited to, any reviews or Feedback.

Please note that in case of an Expert receiving a rating of 1 on any call, no Appointment Fee will accrue to the Expert unless.
